Security questions!

Evening all!

Can I check my understanding of a few things please….

Is ‘key less entry’ the proximity thing? As in keys in my pocket and if I’m next to the car I can open the door?
So is it worth turning off from a security point of view?

Next question…
Anyone heard of/ used this product as a ‘signal jammer when the key is dormant’?

Ref keyless. With the keys in your pocket (or bag) you have to touch the door handle or use the tailgate handle to activate an unlock. From my experience the keys need to be within about a 1m range of the handle for this to work.
Several on here have turned this facility off to improve security. Others use a faraday key pouch or something acting as such.
With the keys in your pocket you can also press the button on the handle to lock the doors rather than press the button on the key fob.
