Grinding / creaking noise at low speed, low RPM

As the title of the thread suggests my 2016 D4 makes some really loud grinding noises it's particularly noticeable at low speed and under low throttle, does it in high and low range. At higher speeds it doesn't seem to be there at all.

I have mentioned it to several mechanics and nobody seems to know what the fault is or where it is coming from.

Car is on 66,000 miles. Does not get used for towing, does get used off road a couple of times a year.

Probably not connected but I had the same creaking, graunching noises from my 2016 D4 at low speed.
Turned out to be the spare wheel winch half a turn loose which allowed the tyre to protest against the shields.

Spare tyre is tight in its spot. Since nobody can see the problem, I can't help but think something in the main gearbox (Gears or torque converter) or the transfer case (diff lock?) might be fubar...

2016 with a mere 66k.. I wouldn’t think it the transfer case or transmission, unless it has been used hard.
I’d be focusing on suspension, bearings, bushings… the easy stuff first.

Or, get a stethoscope onto those items you suggested. Being the vehicle was in the shop, perhaps its something while underway as opposed to stationary.

I have a similar problem - 2010 D4 on 135k miles. It’s been doing it for at least a year, probably more like 2. Video attached to hopefully let you hear it. I had a good look round when I was changing brake hoses recently and didn’t find anything obvious. Ideas welcome.

Noticed this is particularly bad after a longer run on a motorway / fast road. At a junction the sound is horrific but after a few turns mostly stops. Very odd.

I have had a similar issue recently, again at low speed, particularly on a full lock turn.
I haven't figured it out, but the noise on full lock was more of a metal on metal noise.
I have now got a squeak on bumps and the occasional click so I am thinking bushings have gone.
I'm on 107k. Just replaced rear prop, could it be front prop or CVs?

I’ve had mine throughly examined but nothing found. Cv joints deemed ok by them.
