Special programs not available with no warning lights |
|
I have recently bought a 2009 D3 manual when I got it the park brake warning lamp was lit and special programs not available message was on the dash.
I have reset the gearbox position sensor which has cleared the park brake fault and that has been ok for a week or so now. I assumed that once that was sorted the special programs message would go away but it hasn’t.
I have replaced the battery and checked the transfer box ecu plug behind the battery and everything looks dry and clean.
I have power and earth to the connector under the all terrain module
I got a Gap tool last week and tried clearing the faults but these remain
Engine Ecu
UO13800 (2F) lost communication with all terrain module
Suspension
U1A13-87(2f) lost communication with all terrain module - bus signal failure message- missing a message
Transfer case
U0138-86(2F) lust communication with all terrain module-Bus signal/message failure- signal is invalid
There are no other warning lights or messages on the dash and the transfer box switch, height control switch and hill decent are illuminated and seem to work perfectly the rotary dial for terrain response isn’t illuminated at all though.
Can anyone point me in a direction where to look next

Sorted, it was the actual terrain response switch that was faulty a brand new 2nd hand one has restored special programs 😁
