Hi all.
A quick question (I've just got my first D4). The indicator 'clicker' on my '15-plate HSE sounds just like the one I had on an old Citroen 2CV back in the '60s. IE - it's b***dy noisy! Is this the norm please?
Other than that (and the darned stop/start), she's a dream.
Cheers

The indicator 'click' on D3, and I assume D4s, is an electronically generated sound coming from the small speaker on the back of the instrument cluster.
Be thankful it still works, as quite a few on D3s have stopped working.
If you are handy with a Soldering iron it's a £2 fix with a new speaker from RS/Farnell etc.
If you go the official route it's a new instrument cluster because the speaker is on the PCB which can't be purchased separately.
A new cluster paired to the car etc by LR is the thick end of £1K. Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.

First world problems !
Yes mine is quite noisy. It’s very ‘positive’.
My start stop works a treat, and never had any issues with it. You can turn it off using the eco button on the dash, but needs doing every start up. You’ll get the eco warning on the speedo when you do so. Gary
