Hi all.
65 plate d4.
Basic spec one.
Two front seat airbags deployed, airbag light on.
Seats can either be replaced or repaired.
I suspect drivers seatbelt pretensioner may require repair/replacement although unsure.
Cant recall any codes on GAP (not bought a licence for this project yet!).
Can i reset the airbag module/crash data?
Or am i better off just replacing it, the pretensioner, and the seats?
Unsure if the modules are locked to the car?
Thanks

modules not locked to car
if seat airbags I would replace whole seats
yes to new seat belt pretensioners
yes to new airbag module that sits under the central console
yes to new dash
reset on CCF
I'd say a nice job to do over a warm weekend
I did all this on a MY14 D4 and all worked great after Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

On the GAP IID (this is from memory) - its Config=> Service->Reset Airbags
Mine showed a failure after doing this and then ping all faults cleared and the dash no longer had the airbag symbol Stolen - D4 Loire Blue

To further this - fitted s/h module and different seats, lots of faults and airbag light. Sent original module off to "airbag team" in yorkshire, just over £60, was back in 48 hrs with crash data removed and all is in order, no airbag faults. Have a vin number/drivers seat fault to work through but not too worried. The company I used were great.

I think the fact that it was a s/h module that is the key here - I bought a new one on the bay for the same price as a lot of the used ones and it worked straight off the bat- that 2nd hand one maybe came out of a motor with bags deployed?
Glad you got it sorted and are happy Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
