Infotainment shut down and hazard lights coming on

Hi All,
2007 2.7 tdv6 HSE D3 90,000mls. Anyone come across these symptoms?
Driving along , radio goes off, system error message, hazards start flashing. Couldn’t turn hazards off. Pull in, turn engine off. Wait a minute turn engine back on, restarts and epb fault message. Drive off all ok. Message disappears following day.

2 weeks later, Driving along , radio goes off, no error message, hazards start flashing. Couldn’t turn hazards off. Pull in, turn engine off. Wait a minute turn engine back on, refuses to start, error message- HDC not available. Half hour later , engine restarts , no error messages. Drive off as normal.
Any thoughts before I get it checked on Monday. Thanks

Search for cluster on here.

Common fault on post 2007 (I think) D3 when they moved to lead free solder on the circuit boards on the instrument cluster.

Next time your driving, try giving the instrument cluster a bash with your fist, see if the fault appears.

Plenty of company’s that offer repair and return

OP - check the TCCM. It sits behind the battery a little lower down.

Often times there is corrosion in there and the symptoms you described can be related to that.

Let me know if you need any help. Thumbs Up

Thanks for comments and suggestions.
Sent cluster off for repair under warranty (was done last year-different symptoms). No faults found by the company but rebuilt any way. Received back (no cost to me and carriage cost covered too)and refitted last week. Cleared all fault codes and so far so good none of the problems have reoccurred.
Scanning after every journey and picking up 2 error codes repeatedly as per photo. Noticed ride seems harsh.
Any thoughts ?
