Drive Shaft Question - pulled out
So, a quick upper arm replacement is throwing up more issues than I ever thought possible.
Next issue, when trying to pull the knuckle forward to release the drive shaft from it, it pulled cleanly out the diff end instead.
Question 1. Can I reinsert this? - very gently, watching seals etc. Or do I need to swap anything?
Question 2. The 'joints' in the CV boots look to now be 'droopy', should these just push back into place? Or have I screwed something up and need to remove CV boots and rebuild this?
Thanks again

I did the exact same thing and pulled the half shaft out the diff, slid it back in and havent had any other issues. To remove the shaft from the knuckle I ended up using a puller to push the shaft through. Used plenty of copper grease when putting it back together as it was very tight
No comment on the droopy boots

Just to confirm for anyone reading this in the future, I cleaned the drive shaft, and carefully reinserted it and all is well.
Will do a diff oil swap shortly to make sure its clean and happy inside.
Also, it took a lot of WD40 and a 15t hydraulic gear puller to push the drive shaft out of the wheel bearing (12 years of rust I guess)Disco 4 2012 HSE, Nara Bronze
