Suggestions Needed re 'No Signal' on DAB

Hi,
So after losing DAB completely I got a replacement DAB Module off EBay and fitted it yesterday - good news was that all the DAB info that had vanished from my screen immediately returned - however bad news is that when it autotuned it came back with 'no signal' - I presume this must therefore be an aeriel issue ? I assume the aeriel is powered so is there a fuse somewhere that might have blown ? Only one I can see in the book is for 'power amplifier'
Any suggestions would be very (and I do mean very) welcome !!!
Thanks in advance
Jon

Dab failed

Hi, I have had the same thing happen, I thought I would buy a used module and give it a try.

Couple of questions, where is the module located and also have you been able to fix your issue?

Hi,
Seems a common fault - the module is easy to replace and there is a video on you tube (I'm not at home so sorry can't attach link). The unit is under the rear drivers side rear quarter panel - basically you need to unbolt rear seat belt, remove one screw then lift the scuff plate on osr door entry - then gently lever the panel off (you obviously have to remove the load cover unit and tip up the osr seat) - I suggest trying to lever right where clips are as that way you can get it off without breaking clips. Might also help to loosen load tie downs so panel comes easier. On video they show taking panel right off but actually you only need to get front end clear in order to access unit - just three connectors and three nuts.
Yes mine now works perfectly - I understand that you need to get a unit that is at least as new, if not newer, than yours or it won't work. It's probably worth at least taking panel off, taking a photo of the label, and them getting one where codes match ? That's what I did and the DAB section on display came back instantly and once autotuned all worked better than before. One tip study the way the connectors have to clip/unclip on your replacement before struggling to unclip from your old unit.
Hope you get sorted
Jon

Sorry forgot to say reason I had problem on first unit I fitted was that the input side of unit wasn't working- second one I tried was perfect so it wasn't anything to do with amplifiers or aerials but simply a faulty unit.
