Possible LPFP failure?
Morning all.
I’m experiencing an intermittent issue with my D3 (2.7) that seems to be getting more frequent.
Every so often I get the “transmission fault, limited gears available” and it drops into limp mode. No dash lights at all. Restart the engine and it’s fine.
On a scan, I’m getting 3 fault codes.
P2290-00 - injector control pressure too low
P0101-17 - mass or volume air flow. circuit range/ performance.
Р0191-23 - fuel rail pressure sensor range/ performance.
The only transmission code I’m getting is
U2023-86 - fault received from external node.
I’m thinking maybe fuel filter or LPFP?
Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Start with a new OEM fuel filter replacement and see if things improve, if not it's time to get testing the current consumption and output of the LPFP.
There are reams of posts written on this subject over many years and the test procedures are covered as well. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

I would support fitment of a new OEM fuel filter as the first step.
