Hi all. I am an 80 year old with a D3 HSE. I have managed to do the RR mod to the nav screen but can not see how to do the brightness fix. Is there anyone willing to give me clear details on how to do the mod?

Hi Grunter,
If you managed the RR mod, you are capable of fitting one of the kits like Panoramix made that details are of in the long thread https://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic74474-375.html.
I'm not sure if he does them anymore, but I have made a couple up for forum members. I think I have have enough bits for one more kit if you want? PM me if so.  Volunteer driver with 4x4 Response South East Wales

not clear instructions, but look at this video at 1 min in.
It shows it working with the simple method of sensor and resistor. Values are on this forum

my ebay purchase history has the following, so that is a bit of a guess and clue

Thank you for your response. I have stripped down a faulty screen unit and can now see all of the points that I need.
