[For Sale] Sump Guard and FBH Remote + Receiver
Genuine Land Rover sump guard for MY14+ cars, made by Mantec. Professionally powder coated black. Some wear due to use - a few dings (see photos). Could be recoated if you wanted it to look fresh.
£200 collected. Could be posted, but big and heavy, so likely to cost £20+.

Receiver, aerial and remote (with new battery) for fuel burning heater. I had to enable mine in the CCF with my gap IId tool to get this to work. I thought it would work on my range rover, but I need a different model. £100 posted. SOLD

Quite straightforward as long as you have access to a GAP IID or similar. Plugs in in the drivers side D pillar. Aerial stuck under the trim somewhere (would need some more sticky pads to stick it somewhere).

Yes I have a Gap IID and timed climate in my 2016 Landmark.
How does it run when going? Do you get feedback on the remote? Can you set how long it runs?

Push the on button on the remote, the little green light flashes and then stays on (if car is in range) and heater starts. Runs for about 20 minutes, heating up engine coolant and running fans to heat the body of the car. Car is now toasty and defrosted on a winter morning while you are inside your house drinking tea.
If the outside temperature is not cold enough, I think just the fan runs to vent the car.
I didn't find a way to alter how long it runs for. It also doesn't start if fuel is low.

I'm curious because I'm new to this - what's the difference between pre & post '14 ?

I'm not entirely sure. I think this is the year that the lights and grille changed, so perhaps some of the bumper pieces underneath also changed?
