The date display has suddenly changed to 24/072013 - years before the car was built:-

How did this happen - I don't think I have done anything to trigger this?
How do I reset the date please?

That's an interesting one Nigel.
I'd guess it's a date something, Software, Firmware, etc was first written.
Sorry, I can't help with resetting the date, but I'd be checking the battery out to see if the slightly colder weather is showing it's on it's way out.Heaven doesn't want me, and hell is afraid I'll take over.
I don't think it's battery related - it was new in April this year & seems to be 100%.

clock resets every time you disconnect the battery, I guess BCM crash or reboot for some reason might have caused this as well but its all power supply related
check your battery terminals if tightened up well and all
