Facelift D4 headlamps query
Hi experts.... Forgive my obvious ignorance on this matter, but I'm about to fit new D3S-type Xenon bulbs to my (9 years old) HSE Lux. It has the 'Adaptive' headlamps btw. What is the function of the inner lamps, ie the ones nearest the grille. No matter what light combination I turn on, they just don't do anything. They have what look like H7 bulbs in them. The main (outer) lamps do both dip & high beam.

The inner H7 ones come on with high beam (at least they do on mine).
Because Xenons take a while to heat up (a few seconds), the H7s act as your flash lamp (usually for the that just brake-checked you)

Thought the inner ones where indicators! It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Thanks for that, I hadn't thought of that. They are indeed indicator lights!
