Wanted - SINGLE locking roofbar / crossbar
I know it might sound a little curious, but I am after a single roofbar. If anybody has a spare one knocking around please give me a shout.

mmm mine came in a pair so having a spare one would be a bit odd
Not sure about anyone else... they may have had three by mistake though - or one and are confused as to how to mount their roof boxes

You could buy a pair and then sell on one of them to someone like yourself who also needs three cross bars Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

Steve - I like your thinking!
It all comes down to laziness. I have my blue lights mounted to one of my crossbars, and now, with summer holidays looming I need to unbolt and un wire them to put a roofbox on. If I had a spare (third!) one, I could leave the lights attached and just take the whole unit off. So, if anybody has lost, broken or otherwise misplaced a roof bar and has the other one propping up a shelf in the greenhouse, I'd love to hear from you.

You might then get at least as far by asking to borrow one? I have uses for mine on a few specific dates in July/August but wouldn't mind you borrowing one if the dates suited???
PM me for dates if you're interested, I'm in East Mids so I guess there might be offers closer.....Cheers

A very kind offer! To be honest, it would only take 20 minutes to disassemble the kit, so I shall save the ridiculously expensive diesel and get my spanners out instead. If i could buy one it would save all the 20 minutes over the next few years. Thanks again though
