I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Ram mounts: Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

I've mounted an ASUS R2H in a Ram holder + short mount. They are a very solid mount, stays exactly where set.

Will fit beautifully in the centre recess if no factory fit nav, or as I have done, in front of the gear lever, below the Heater control panel. The Ram base plate wedges into the centre slot where the ashtray would go, as a perfect friction fit. Power supply readily available too!

The R2H is a frustrating piece of kit to set up, but has the advantage of a built in GPS receiver.

Bear in mind that the GPS signal is usually 'owned' by just ONE bit of sotware - so running MMap + Nav software sharing the signal requires something like GPSGATE (think thats right?) which I used to use - and works brilliantly.
Long succession of Disco's since 2001...
SIII Lightweight - neglected & rusting. Bulkhead, A panels, vent panel & outriggers now disintegrated - Next years project!
