Hello All, here is a Belgian DIII

Hi all,

New to this forum, not to the LR world Wink
I live in Belgium bought the DIII in January and got it in Februari 2006
I'm urgently looking for the raised air intake, (but for now it seems only LR will sell them. Mantec will/may not sell them)
a cheaper solution for the winch and a ladder for easy access to the roofrack
and A/T tires like BFG

Currently it has a 2nd battery and roofrack as only options Wink

Here a movie from a test drive when it was 3 weeks old

Here some pictures:

The tent is an eezi awn (south african made)

for mounting it on the rack, I removed the sidebars from it, drilled 4 holes in the rack to fix the rooftent.

Next time I mount it, it will open sidewayes as now the taildoor can't open all the way when the tent is open

I'll probably remove the front bar as well, as it prevents me now from adding an extra expedition trunc and jerry can supports

BTW, the trailer thingy (don't know the name in english) is now painted black Wink and the original pullball is also mounted at the same time.

Interesting video, it looks quite a site, but I'm glad that orange defender didn't slide into your rear end Shocked

Looks like Slimer and 10FC have competition for the most extras Laughing

Enjoyed the video - thanks. Do you have the manual or the automatic gearbox?

Manual, and happy with it. From the sand events I've done, alle automatics got quicker stuck.
