Washer bottle replacement |
|
Hi All,
I have had reason to replace my washer bottle. The job is complete, but I wonder aboput the need to pull apart the front of the car...lights, grill, bumper etc, to acess 2 screws set into the rear of the housing that aree inaccessable from under the LHF gaurd.
Has anyone had one replaced? iIf so was there a need to pull apart the front, or are the screws accesssable thru the fog lamp hole?
Cheers
Tony

Hi Wopac5
Needed my washer bottle replaced after it sprung a leak (for no apparent reason). Anyway had it replaced at last service. And yes it basically required half the front to be removed to get access to the mountiing points. I've got the S model so no fog lamp holes but I climbed all over the front to see if I could do it at home but to no avail.
It is definitely a dealer service job

There is a problem with the build of the washer bottle, causing most to eventually fail.
Supplier has fixed the problem and the bottles will be replaced when they go
