I'm seeing Nick on Tuesday next week and will be at the SE meet on the 24th. Let me know if I can help move stuff around
Same applies for picking stuff up at the SE meet on the 24th and bringing back in this direction. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

to speed things up I may be able to meet up with Warrior22 on Wed or Thur when he's down in Bournemouth? He passes through Ken/Slimer's way regularly. I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Current Summary of Courier.... |
|
OK, Summary as I see it at the minute.....
Monday, TFC will take 3 batteries (Whatgoeshere, RichieP, Bornslippy)to Ken's for distribution at the Southern Area Meet
TLO will deliver 3 brackets to NoDo$h will collect 3 x brackets from Yeovil area meet (same people as above) and take them to the S.A.M
TLO will post the remaining ones to me (only way to get them to me in time for 7th June for Me & Gilmore & potentially 8th June Tong meet)
Gilmore will collect the rest of the batteries from TFC and meet with me for 1 battery
I will pass on relevant Traxide units and brackets to TFC & collect whatever batteries are needed to meet up for the Tong meet.
There is currently a flaw in the Tong meet, insofar as I don't have anybody near me who is going to Tong who is able to meet up on the Saturday!
But this is (I Hope) an update of who's collecting where...
(wait whilst I switch computers.....)
D3 Name Location D3 Courier arrangement Optima Bracket SC-40 SC80 TPSE HCE FCE
Bodsy Broseley From Gilmore at home 1 1 0 1 0 0 1
Kevin-t Sheffield Tong 1 1 1 0 1 0 0
Pegleg North Cambs From Gilmore 1 1 0 1 0 0 1
whatgoeshere Reading Southern Meet 1 1 0 0 0 0 0
AndrewW Oldham Tong? BCB to northern meet? 1 1 0 1 1 0 0
Tintenter Oldham Tong? BCB to northern meet? 1 1 0 1 0 0 1
RichieP Reading Southern Meet 1 1 1 0 0 0 0
Gilmore Derby From TFC/Bodsy 1 1 0 1 0 0 1
Bornslippy Southampton Southern Meet? Onward? 1 1 1 0 0 0 0
MW Kimbolton, Cambs Via Pegleg From Gilmore 1 1 0 1 0 0 1
Donald Inverness Post 0 1 1 0 0 0 0
Ent Accrington Tong Via Ave 1 1 0 1 0 0
Durham City Tong via Flinty99 1 1 0 1 1 0 0
Can a mod sort the list format, goes a bit mad for me..... )
BIGGEST problem so far, is how to get the batteries & all the bits for those that are going via Tong.
Ideally to be picked up on the 7th June. my place is ideal, or anywhere near. Perhaps even the route between my place and Gilmore's place for a drop off on the way home rob?
Sorry, asking a lot of other people again
Let me know if you have any feedback on the above...
Cheers

Hi we are up and down the country weekly at a number of sites - doncaster, bicester, derby, central london, scarborough, banbury and often leeds / wakefield and warrington- if anyone can meet during the day I can get one of the lads to make a detour, early morning or mid afternoon is the best.
It sounds like you have it pretty organised but i thought is was worth a mention.
cheers

I've just has a (tiny) brainwave. I've looked at the Tong signup for the 8th. Andrew A is signed up for Tong.
He's showing on the disco3 members map as being in Nottingham. When I come back from Bodsy's on Saturday I can deliver any Tong-bound stuff to him. He can bring it up to Tong on Sunday.
Right, that's got potential. I'll PM him now. Anyone know him?

ooh sorry, I am still not getting email alerts a lot of the time for threads
Your doing a Grand Job there Ian, have you ever considered applying to run the rail network
So just to confirm my battery is going to RichieP via Ken?
Bornslippy - can meet you halfway down M3 (from Basingstoke - Southampton) if it helps if your battery is also heading this way and ends up with me?
Paul
PS I am not sure the list function is all that great, according to the help this is the best it can do:

That sounds like a good plan Rob
Just hope he can do it
Oh and just hope that the Traxide bits arrive in time..... And that I get enough time to sort through them!
As for Rail Networks Paul
Kevin-t, won't have all the bits in the same place til Saturday, but thanks anyway

Andrew A can take the stuff to Tong.
There's a thread started in the Courier Network forum.
http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/post305342.html#305342
Shall we continue the logistics discussion there, as it's going to get a bit of a mess split between the two otherwise?

Yeah sorry I started that other thread, but only cause Bodsy asked someone too
(to be fair, I am sure courier network gets more views in there than here) Disco3 is now gone but not forgotten. Waiting for Disco6 with full aluminium construction weight reduction and hybrid engine...

No need to apologise. The Courier forum is the right place to sort out the logistics.
BTW: Which forum should we use when we all struggle to get the damn things to work properly? I can smell the smouldering wiring now. All opinions expressed in this posting are my own and are not necessarily those of someone who knows what they are talking about.

I think the "off topic" thread on recharging your Lucas smoke generator might come in handy I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I've been assured that the instructions (on CD!) are VERY comprehensive, although if there is any feedback to improve on them, Tim's (Drivesafe) happy to receive that also.
Myself and Gilmore will I'm sure provide some initial feedback on the installation of the units we'll fit on (hopefully) Saturday
You'll ALL receive the instructions to fit ALL of the kits on the same CD, so make sure you look at the right instructions. Bodsys Brake Bible
