Radio AVC

Does anyone know if this is actually working - supposed to increase the hi-fi volume incrementally as the vehicle noise gets louder!! Problem is that the car is very quiet - however one area of noise is the a/c which especially on the programmed defrost maes a lot of noise - and seems to drown out the radio, despite the AVC being on - surely that is the sort of noise level that the avc should compensate for?... or is AVC just another feature we are all imagining & will be told by LR does not actually exist/will be removed!! Wink

Yes it works well, but it is speed related, not background noise. You can set the gain by going into the audio settings, press the button with the music note on for more than 2 seconds, and you will get a menu of sound settings for phone, nav, voice and AVC. The higher the AVC number, the more the gain.

I was just thinking today how noisy the aircon was!! I have done the Edinburgh trip today, and with the outside temp nudging 12 degrees, and the inside tempset to 24 degrees, it was blowing cold air!! I had to turn the fan down to position 1 to get comfortable.
