Wing Mirrors Folding or NOT in my case.
Well I parked my disco on Sidmouth Seafront saturday night and when I came back some kind f er had hit the drivers mirror and the glass was broken and hanginf off by the heater mirror power leads. So this lead me to think I should have folded the mirrors in.
OK you can do this by hand but on all my other cars you could do it via a switch so I read the book and It said if the switch was in the middle position and you press the up on the angle control they would fold.
Mine on the other hand did nothing.
I am doing it right ?
2nd question.
How easy is it to fit new mirror lens and are there any tricks and tips that might be handy. You can never have too many toys...

Never worked on my HSE. I thought there was problem until further research seemed to suggest that his is an option on European HSEs I'll ask the dealer to double-check when it has its first service.

It never ceases to amaze me how Land River can make something like this - which is standard on many lesser cars - an "option" on what is supposed to be the top of the range model. I bought a car the dealer had in stock and it didn't occur to me to check this at the time. It's hardly a problem in practice - one electrical item less to go wrong.

The doormirrors on the FL courtesy car I had recently folded automatically when the car was locked... Don't know why they haven't put this feature on the Disco yet .As you slide down the banister of life
