auto gearbox oil level
Does anyone know how to check the gearbox level on the D3 or where the filler plug is located, I have developed a leak between the gearbox and engine and want to be able to check the level

Are we talking a possible transfer case leak here?
Mine has just started weeping, at 75K.
Keeping a close eye on it, 6 months warranty to go and I think I will make sure it gets replaced before the end.TDV6

the gearbox oil temp has to be measured to be able to check the level correctly, and which engine do you have

Not a transfer case leak, looks like a leak between the gearbox and rear of engine, definitely a gearbox leak because of the coluor of the oil.
All topped up for the moment but will need to determine what exactly the problem is before I decide to do it myself or get a dealer to do it.

I have the TDV6. The oil temp should be 30 - 50 degrees.
