Rear Locking Diff

I have a factory fitted rear locking diff, but I do not have the top spec sat nav (with 4X4 info). Can anyone tell me what I could look for on the rear diff to prove that it is there.

1. use de search button Wink
2. lift a front wheel (or both) and one rear wheel
3. try to drive away (GENTLY)

If you feel it will go, you have one, if you stay where you are, and the 3 wheels are spinning, you don't have one

Involves crawling under truck, looking for a motor bolted on to diff, can't miss it if fitted, you'll see the wiring harness.

Surely a non diff lock vehicle would still pull away in that scenario as the ETC would halt the spinning wheels and power would flow to the gripping wheel ?
