Condensation patches just below the xenon lamps both sides - Anyone else had this? I thought that the condensation would dissapate, but it didn't - reported to dealer - he says both units to be replaced !!! all seems a bit drastic. Do I consider this to be my first 'fault' 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

No, it is a known issue on some vehicles. The Land Rover Tech info site has a bulletin for the condition.
If the condensation either wont go away, or covers more than a specified area you get new lamps

Thanks very much Gareth - I'll think just take your word for it - I'm not paying Land Rover's tech site to tell me whats wrong with the vehicle - what a scam 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

I totally agree, but the dealers seem to know a bit more about it now. In the early days I had no choice

I'll make them an offer for the xenons with the condensation. Seems a waste to throw them away.

I'll be in the bidding too ! My passenger side headlight is cracked and is now full of condensation. The dealer said a new one would be £390 I thought I was being really clever buying one on Ebay for £60. but it isn't the same type of bulb (I assume it is halogen not xenon)
The front lens / screen on these units seems ridiculously light weight to me. My dealer said he thought they were supposed to be bullet proof, but I reckon a pea shooter could crack this stuff !
DickGriff, I'll happily pay £100 for your old unit if you can get the dealer to let you take it away. My alternative is to try to remove the screen from the replacment unit I bought and glue that to my old one - anyone know if thats possible ??? Disco 4 TDV6HSE

I also had the condensation, however it seems to have dissapeared or maybe I have stopped noticing it. I'll have a look tonight - car is 3 weeks old. Some say the glass is half full. Others that it is half empty. I say 'Are you drinking that?"

Had NS replaced in March and both replaced last week. Land Rover will not replace the units unless the condensation is bad. My dealer showed me the bulletin, they have pictures of what is acceptable and what’s not. I complained to customer care and got both changed.
Mine were “borderlineâ€.
If you get a kick back from your dealer because they are not bad enough don’t take your side light bulbs out and add water to the inside of the light with a syringe or similar to make them worse cause that’s just not right. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

When you do get a new light take the cheap insurance option and get a set of headlight protectors.. I only had my protectors on for a week when the OS got smashed but at least it saved the headlamp... TDV6 SE (Ausie Spec) COOOL Chawton White.

if you have light condesation/misting to the headlamps your dealer can fit silica gel sachets to each of the units to sort this issue as per the technical bulletin-headlamps will only be changed in extreme circumstances when moisture droplets form on the glass internally

Same problem.
The dealer tried twice to re-seal the headlights with no effect.
Now I am waiting for the units to be replaced. The condensation occurs in the lower "silver" part of the unit.
