And is it ?
Both the handset and LR software versions.... you'll maybe need your dealer to work out what version is on your MY05 D3 though.
If it all appears that it should be working, then I would get the dealer to look at the PTI.
Have you tried another known to work with your D3 phone ?? You need to rule out one side or the other.

Then I would try a handset you know works with your MY D3's PTI... or seek a dealers advice.
Sorry, not being much help here. No idea about Moto phones TBH.

Does anyone you know have a Nokia or SE ? They seem to be the most reliable with the PTI ?
May also be worth deleting the BT pairing on your phone and re-pairing it with the D3. As far as I know, there is no manual way to do this in the D3.
This worked for me once with an SE K850i.
Worth a try.

cheers al see if i can get hold of a nokia to try thanks for your help
Is the phone selecting a non bluetooth audio input/output when it gets the call?
i.e. the built-in mic/speaker or maybe another headset?
I've seen this on other phones - phone makes a decision on call connect about where to route the audio, and if that's not the in-car bluetooth, the audio system goes back to what it was playing, and the call stays on the phone.
May need to set up somewhere - or just clear BT syncs from the phone and start again08 LR3 SE V8 - 02 D2 SE7 V8
