Mine went today, so thought I would change it myself.
Tight space to get into, but unable to gain access to spare fuses due to 2 wiring looms in the way.
Time to see dealer! New Defender Deposit paid 12/17:-) Lookin forward to Dec 2018.

Shawn, sounds like bad slip contacts within the motor / gearbox... trip to dealer on the cards
BTW, have you 'moved on' from Hunters?

I think this is due too the road dirt getting into the elbow of the arm. I have had the same problem.
Clean it with water then WD40 and the blade will flex with its movment over the rear window, and will not stick.
Trust me it works. New Defender Deposit paid 12/17:-) Lookin forward to Dec 2018.

Mine went the other day. Replaced the fuse and all ok. Could not get to the spare fuse using the provided extraction tool. Had to use long nosed pliars. Not a good place for spare fuses...
Also have the same issue with the rear wiper as others have had. One side of the wiper not lying flat against glass due to dirt in the hinge. Would suggest more spring in the wiper. Gavin.

my windscreen washers aren't working even though the pump can be heard to be running and the resevoir is full. i took out the plastic inline jobbies under the bonnet just before the washer jets and water comes out but barely. could these little units (i think they create back pressure) be stuffed or is the pump on the way out and not generating enough pressure? thanks

My front and rear washer pump(s) have stopped working. I've tried changing the fuse, without success. I attempted to change fuse 11, as suggested. However, slot11 is empty on my car - fuse 12 is the one used for the washer.
Interestingly, the headlamp washers work fine.
Any ideas? 06 Tonga Green TDV6 HSE

I have this same problem. The fuse has not blown and I have now replaced it with a 15 amp one, but neither the front or rear washer is working, the headlights do wash. does anyone have any advice please.
I have filled the car with ready mixed washer fluid so originally thought this was too weak for the temperature, it has been mild for a couple of days now so this should not be affecting it.

Do you hear the washer motor runninmg when you press the button? (ignition on of course). If not, the possibly you fitted a dud fuse, or the motor is burnt out.
If you do hear the motor running but no water is coming out, you need to check the pipes/jets/non return valves for blockages.
