Now you mention it I now have the screen that is in the first post. Used to be different but can't remember the exact wording though. Just know that it's different.
Confusing. Is the system able to take downloads and update itself?
Mine has not been in the dealers, but I've only had it about a week or so

I think mine changed when the system updated after putting in a newer nav disc. It wasn't the latest one I'm using for 07-08 (260) but when an earlier one went in. I think it was (200), whatever year that was? Wink

TBH, I think LR/Navtek will change the front screen with each version upgrade.

If you are trying to solve a problem with a computer or system, the first thing the support or technical person will want to know is the version of the system/software in use.

The easiest way to establish this is to have a distinctive version relevant first screen to the application. We do this with our software, and our support tech's can instantly tell what version or build number of our program they are dealing with as soon as the product is launched.

In the case of the LR system, it saves the tech removing the DVD to check version number perhaps?

What is "Sat Nav on the Move"?
and
How much does it cost for the latest disc? I had never considered updating mine, and I don't know what version I am running now. Is it cheap enough to make it worth doing for the benefits gained?

Sat nav on the move is an option enabled by the dealer ...it allows you to input address's , postcodes while you are moving .

Mine was done for free ..but others have paid ( some about £100 Shocked )

You will need to see what disk you have first ..as you need a newish disk for this to happen aswell.( cant quite remember which ...maybee YIW 500200)

Check what number is on your disk ...should be something like YIW 500012 , 500013 , 500200 , 500250 , 500260 or the latest which has a compleatly different number 6H42-10E898-ADZ
