Williams of Manchester has just changed mine, leather different - lot smoother.
Done with month of warranty left.

Mine's being changed today (together with the curly airbag cover, steering ball-joints etc etc etc)...

I'll let you know what the difference is when I get the D3 back.

Having mine changed on Tuesday.

LR initially declined the claim but a call to LR customer Care, pointed out this was my 4th Disco and a member of this forum and they agreed to change it under warrantee.

It was the power of disco3.co.uk that swung the argument!! Mr. Green

OK....got mine back now.....new steering wheel and airbag cover fitted.

The leather is much smoother and has a matt finish compared to the shiny old one - the airbag cover is also identical to the wheel and I can't see any of the airbag cutouts that I saw on the old one.
