Iphone getting to be a pain |
|
i have the ipod D3 kit (latest one) & also the after market bluetooth kit.
worked ok for until 2 days ago
while playing music from the iphone through the ipod kit the not compatable warning keeps coming up and muting the music for 1 minute or so , ive always ignored the warning as advised on other posts and all worked ok .
now it keeps muting and saying bla bla bla not compatable ive also put it into airplane mode to see if that fixes the issue , but same warning comes up and does the mute thing
is there a fix or some kind of upgrade possible .
iphone has the latest software 2.0.
moochos in advance I have enough money to last me the rest of my life.Unless i buy something..

Well thats a kic in the teeth if your on an unlocked iphone. I read on te o2 site that a programe is availalable to lock every time to log onto itunes, which we all need to periodically.
Answer, dont unlock, wasteing your money.

JCB
£5.99 to unlock ain't a waste of money believe me given u get to be able to use this gr8 bit of kit on any network except 3 (does anybody still use 3????) without any loss of functionality. Just keep away from itunes 8 for now - it will only be a few weeks before someone will crack it. 2.1 software upgrade is only essential if u have the 3G phone anyway, apple cocked up big time in rushing the 3G version out to market hence the updates!!!. Have compared the EDGE version to 3G and with 2.0.1 software the edge version wins hands down so do not hurry to accept the upgrade!!

Already done; see here for a link.
Note that for the 3G 'phones, it's a jailbreak (access to file system so non-Apple store applications can be installed), not an unlock (use of non-authorised carrier); the latter is expected in a while Time flies like an arrow; fruit flies like a banana

Are you sure its not the 2.0 update that caused the issue?
