French Bluetooth Integration in German speaking car? |
|
Just brought my new (old) Discovery V8 HSE home from Switzerland. Car is very fine, but when I press the phone steering wheel buttuns the car speaks french. Dashboard and Navigation are german.
Any idea how to change phone voice control to german or english?
Thanks for your help
Nikolaus

I think the phone language is a dealer software reload. The Nav and other systems you can set yourselves.
I have the same with Englisch for the phone and Dutch for the rest. I just bought it in the UK and have not been to a Dutch stealer to see what is possible and what the costs are. Roel

tried a reload this morning at the local dealer without sucess. Apparently the "optional" Bluetooth interface is different from the factory fitted and can not be flashed from IDS...
