Cooper ATRs

Ive just put on some 265 65 R17 from Cooper (ATRs) to my 2006 TDV6 S and am quite happy so far. I was replacing some 235 65 R17 that they sold me last time, but I later found out that they were under spec, so had them changed after a bit of fight Evil or Very Mad . The tyre merchant agreed to sell my existing tyres (still loads of tread) and he gave me the new ones at cost, so not so bad in the end. My question is, for on road driving, do I still use the tyre pressure recomendation in the manual or should I change it, as at standard pressures (2.5bar rear and 2.3 front) they look a little flat. Maybe Im imagining things?
Of course we'll make it... were in a landy!

Bushboysteve, Does the 265 65 17 spare fit under the rear in the original spare location? Does it hang down lower than the 235 70 17? to reduce departure angle.

wadarryl, my atr 265/70/17 fits into my 06 spare wheel well, but only if it is deflated (10psi), and then I need to give it a shove in (not just winch up). This is fine for me, bearing in mind I have a hardwired compressor. Departure angle - the problem is the bumper corners and exhaust, not the tyre in my experience.

I had to remove the tow bar (plough) to get my spare off (Cooper ATR) .
I now have it fitted to the spare wheel carrier. I am glad I had to remove the spare at home and not in a couple of inches of mud! Sad
