If these are from the same folks as AndrewS's and bcb's GB they get the big Thumbs Up as they provided perfect service in Tunisia. Loverly Job!

Hi MrH - I've got the same ropes (4mtr and 8mtr) but with shackles from these people.

Not had to use them as yet but they certainly look more than up to the job.

Well done for organising this Thumbs Up

Don't know what BCB has, but these are the ones that AndrewS has - that's where I found out about them Thumbs Up

I think BCB has video of us using the ropes, sometimes 3 of them where we couldn't get close enough, to help me pull out Rescue01 a few times Snigger

To keep in the boot for onroad recoverys would I be best with the 5m and then buying a couple of shackles?

Yes 5m is a good general purpose length. The 8m/10m option are particularly handy when off road if someone get stuck and you can't quite get close enough without getting yourself into trouble.

The hooks are just a lot easier than shakles, and clip into the recovery loop found at the front of the D3, so presumable will also work on other vehicles, for those that it don't fit I keep a shackle or two in the car anyway.

I currently have a very old 4m heavy duty tow rope without hooks - putting money where mouth is, as part of this GB I'll replace that with a 5m with hooks as a general purpose rope and will also get an 8m with hooks.

These ropes are very good, I have a 5m and an 8m. Would recommend them.

Are these static or kinetic ?

I have a kinetic but also need a static - so if the latter I will sign up.

Available for pick up in Snowdonia...?
