Would it also be possible for the dvd output to be sent to the front screen in the dash oh and a tv tuner...?

Yes, with the right add-ons, but not as standard, you'd have to nominate a DVD input source as both headrest units can operate in tandem or independently

they are 8) the photo's above still have the protective film on the screens but the resolution is much better than the old Rosen 7000/7200's

So much wanted so little funds, will have to save and keep it in my slush fund under the radar of swmbo. If and when i start doing my wish list i will just keep saying that it was buy one get one free for the mods.

nope, the player is integrated into the screens, both can operate independently or in tandem. There is an interface box that can take external composite inputs such as Freeview etc.

How is the the sound transmitted? Through headphones or the rear auxilary? does the interface box also have an output, ie for the front screen?
