Any takers? And I'm looking at Bodsy in particular here....
Mantec plate needs to make its way from my grubby mitts to those of a certain Mr P of the Ron variety. All assistance greatly appreciated I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Al, I can take it north as far as Leeds, any where up the M1 or A1.... The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Snowy, that'd be great.
I'm north of York so anywhere on A1/M1/ Leeds that suits.
So would you be collecting from the SE meet?
Is that Tue 28th Oct?
btww. donation will be made to site for efforts

Hi Ron, yep, SE meet is on 28th Oct and, as long as nothing terrible happens , I'll be there. Do you need the plate before Tong on the 9th Nov? Just want to plan when I'll be up there next after the SE meet. If you need it for Tong, I'll do all I can to get up there before then. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Yep, was looking for it for Tong!!
Sods law ... if it's not fitted by then, I'd do some sump damage!!
When do you reckon you'll be up?
I'm in Midlands area on Mon/Tue 3/4 Nov if that's any good?
[hence Al's post "SE meet to Midlands"]

Can't do 3rd or 4th, the only time I can do between SE meet and the 9th is Thursday 6th November. How's that for you? The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

I will be in Tamworth on Nov 1st & 2nd (Staying about 5 mins from M42 junction 10). If somebody can get it there I can then possible arrange to meet Ron sometime on the 2nd on my way back North.
Let men know if this helps at all.

I will be in Leeds Thursday 6th November. Can I deliver to someone up that way if you are not about Ron? The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

Erm, neatly packaged up and still sat in the back of the car...... Tell you what, shall I bring it next week? I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Well Flinty's is best bet if it can happen.
That way I could meet him on the A1 at Boroughbridge as he travels home!
Any takers to get it to him for the 1st/2nd Nov???
Failing that:

I would come to Leeds to collect it, but it'll take me just short of an hour there and same again back though.
Just wondering if it's better being posted??
Thanks all so far for you help.
Keep it coming!
