Synovate have just released their latest quality rankings. In the SUV category, Toyota Prado on top with 41 defects /100 followed by Disco 3 in a very credible 2nd place with 57 /100
Us defender drivers will be pleased to note that LR haven't messed with the brand much: the defender still is last on the table with 298 defects / 100 cars 
Of course, the Defender number helps to explain the incredible cottage industry around these vehicles..

You'd think they would get the Defender right after all these years.......it all adds to their chaarcter I guess.

Imagine Discovery3 being 1st and Defender last at the next ratings - this will most probably be a all-time first 
Methinks owners of these two vehicles should get a special mention 
Saw a brand new Defender 130 being loaded onto a flat bed this morning - asked the breakdown man what happened, as owner was nowhere to be seen - his reply : "She's f  cked"  Erstwhile - D3 S '07. So - I take it this is faults of vehicles straight off the assembly line ?
