I have the '06 SE 5 seater model and was curious - is there a way to add the rear cargo 12V power supply plug-in like the 7 seat model? There is a harness directly behind the trim panel as well as a cover for the outlet. Is it a simple plug-in to the harness? I don't want to cut and splice at all. Thanks for any feedback!! 2006 D3 Tonga Green

Yep, it's just plug and play, might need a fuse in the CJB as well though

Part number is YXW500030PVJ and it comes fitted with a little plastic flap (marked 12V) to cover the socket when not in use. No idea how much it is in USD, but it shouldn't reach double figures 2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE Auto Buckingham Blue

I have a HSE model with rear aircon, and the unit is in the way. I found the wires, but they seem to be stuck somwhere behind/above the aircon unit.
Is there a way to remove the top pieces of the trim where the lids are to access the cables from the top?
Any help appreciated.
Not as easy as my previous vehicle which took all of 2 minutes to do. Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?

I think the whole of the side trim including the storage boxes come off in one piece, you need to remove the second row seat belt anchor. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Thanks Caver. Does not sound like a 10 minute job then. Will attempt it this weekend, to prevent any swearing and tantrems. Why is the fear of long words called hippopotomonstrosesquippedaliophobia?
