After some Archos Advice
Hi Chaps
I am thinking of getting an Archos thing I want it mainly for snowboarding but would also use it for 4x4ing
My questions are
Shall I get one
If so which one
Are they user friendly when editing and making DVD videos
Which remote camera (Hi Res) camera would be the one to get In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

I have the 504 but there a are a mass to choose from. I went for one of the smallest and with a large 160gb drive

Yes, you simply copy the video to your PC hard drive. the archos appears as a drive on the pv so its a simple drag and drop. you do need the DIVX windows driver to play them. they can then be edited simply with MS moviemaker or Adobe Premier etc

you can use the archos head cam (i have one you can borrow to help you decide)
if you want to connect another camera you will need to buy an adapter to convert the yellow phono plug to plug into the base of the archos. I cant remember off hand what its called.Duncan
