E Bay Help

You will lose the ebay protection facilities if it goes pear shaped.

He's probbaly protecting his "pocket" against ebay selling charges ...
I've had a deal go pear shapped where the ebay seller didn't send the goods after I paid up. Having proved to "ebay" that I had tried emailing / smoke signels etc etc, they stepped in refunded my payment ( less a small fee ) and binned the seller from the system.
Sort of worth using ebay to buy just for that warm feeling .................Somewhere in-between my old D3 and what's to come next .........

Who is the seller? There's a guy that's sold 3 removeable tow bars in the last few weeks and therefore may have a source. His eBay id is something like dreamworks. Maybe he's looking at similar sales and contacting the unsuccessful bidders to save the eBay and Paypal fees?No longer a D3 owner but still subscribed to multiple threads!

I was recently bidding on a towbar on eBay. I didn't win but was contacted by the seller the next day offering me a buy it now price £10 below the sale price. I paid this as it was through ebay and was the max I was prepared to pay. Ebay ID was dreamworksplaster. Towbar arrived 2 days later.
I was also contacted by someone else who offered to sell me one off eBay; Emma (and then a number I think) but I declined this one... They contacted me by looking at my bids on the original towbar.
