Rumble at idle
Hi gang.. many thanks for the input on the brake pad light.
Now it seems that i have a large "rumble" in the engine at idle. It sounds like a loose AC belt (or a stuffed compressor) I noticed today that the fluid in the Power Steering res seems to "boil" at idle.
Is this normal.. looks like water boiling in a billy. It made me wonder if the power steering pump might be the cause of the rumble.
Cheers

Hi Mark,
No - that is not normal... take it to a dealer asap.
Cheers,

Hi Rob... it turns out to be a rumble from the cabin AC fan when blowing on hi speed.
Australs will look at it next week.. but I'm not concerned by it now!
Cheers

Boiling power steering fluid
Hello! Did You find out why the power steering fluid looked like boiling? I have the same problem. I also hear a loud bubbling from under hood when I stop the engine, and some times at idle. Very happy for feedback on this. Worried!

Hi Finnish and welcome!
The OP was way back some 13 years ago, and I don't think he has posted here in the last 10 years!
If you fill out your vehicle details in your profile, perhaps we can offer some help for your problem. yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ
