They are still saying that it is the battery...
But I do have my doubts...
We'll see what happens when they start the engine... They might find something else THEN...

Yep... And they are saying that they can't...
Right now, we are putting pressure on them but I guess that this will end up in some court or a negotiated settlement...
If they are hoping that we will let go, they are wrong...
That said, in THAT dearlership, there are no DIII or RRS in sight...
But we knew that there was an available battery in Marseille (Ok, a bit far away, but it could be here in less than 2 days...). By the time we could get that information picked up on another forum, to opur dealership, the battery was earmarked for another DIII with a broken-down battery...

Finally today we got our DIII back !!!
It took "only" 18 days since it broke down...
They are putting it down to a broken battery (I should rather say faulty...)...
They did some software upgrade and promised me another Rendez-Vous for the Cruise Control issue...
I guess that the letter to the French CEO where I did remark, offhand, that paying 18x45€=500€ in rental costs for a battery that cost at the utmost 150€, was probably a bit too much...
Well the problem seems to have been sorted out for the time being and due to "peer pressure" (I heard that the said CEO was "a bit shocked" by that story...), I now have some first class treatment in that dealership...

I don't think so...
Anyway, I got a "red carpet treatment" today that was quite nice !
I will have to check if I can still access the "hidden menu" to check on the software versions...
