Hi there, relative newbie to this site and was searching for some info on mud tyres to replace my wranglers when they are done. Just wondered how people get on with the low speed ratings of mud tyres ie Q=99mph and the possible insurance implications should an accident occur, would an insurance company fail to pay out?? Think i read somewhere that MTR's are now rated to 112mph? Also would like to know if the at2 is really as good as people reckon, better than say a bfg at?? cheers jez

They are likely to fail to pay out if you were exceeding the quoted speed rating at the time of the accident. The important issue is the load index which is satisfied by the MT\R and AT2 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
