Scorpion ATR vs ZERO

Sent the wife out two days ago to get a set of new boots for the D3 and just noticed whilst trudging through the snow that she has come back with ATR's not the ZERO's that I ordered.

She drives it 90% of the time and 99% it never leaves the hardtop.

I have a collection of Defenders for doing the dirty work Wink

The D3 is under warranty so I wanted to check if

a. Not fitting LR recommended tyre is going to be a problem with the warranty.
b. Is the ATR any good given its a Hybrid on/off road tyre
c. Has the grease monkey ripped me off by fitting a cheaper tyre than he quoted for.

Any opinions greatly received.

Martyn

I would say the ATR is the better tyre Whistle

AFAIK, there is no such thing as a LR recommended tyre - just read through this section lol. As long as the load rating is ok, all is well. The ATR should last longer too.

I don't know the price difference between the two, but would check that you haven't been had.....

ATR's a good tyre - seems to be lasting well also Wink
LRs are a fond memory, apart from the maintenance.

I am Currently using ATR's and I find them great both on and off road. They seem to be the perfect mix for my job.
