| Electronic Brake Controller - Trailer brakes & dual Batt |

Hi there
Been lurking a bit since Nov when I joined the D3 club.
I have an US import offroad trailer - Fleetwood evelution E1 and need to fit my EBC (Electronic Brake Controller)
to the D3. The device brakes the trailer by sending signal when you brake the car etc.. I have one in my Syncro and must say it works GR8. Here are links to other D3 owners who have installed :

The PROBLEM I have extended motorplan - still 1.5 years on it - Who will be able to assist in the installation I would prefer going via dealer - (Midrand ?) and pay more but then they know who did it... ANY IDEAS ? the RR lights also not installed the way I would like it - on with mains no additional switch in cabin - also want this changed.
I want to install the extra batt and system from BRS - CAN they do the EBC ?

Does your car have 2 electrical outlets. I speak under correction but I believe the white one on the left already caters for electronic brakes

I do have both ?
I have searched the web extensively and cannot ghet def answers.. will have to plug it in and drive and see ?
But wat force is aplied as there is no "controller" ?
Maybe I should ask the UK based members as I understand the white plug is UK std - ?

I looked briefly at the Fleetwood as well and the salesman assured me that if you had the white socket all you had to do was plug it in and it would work . But that might just have been sales pitch and I didn't pursue it any further when I lost interest in buying

Heine - where was this salesman ? maybe I can contact him ?
I bought from importer down in CT - he gave me the controller with but did have the D3 then....
How do I test ? drive 60km/h w/o trailer - BRAKE -

drive 60km/h w trailer contected to white plug - BRAKE -
Feel the Diff - I should do this over the weekend when the roads are quite

I think its called TrailerCo . They are next to Kyalami Race Track . I'll go make a turn there tomorrow PM if you like

When were you there ?
The owner Hagan - nice guy - I picked up my E1 (trailer) from him and he showed me the ropes etc..
I didn't bypass him on purpose just was in CT went to the importer and bought from him as it worked out.
I will give him a call - I have his detail so tx no need to drop by there except if you want to also still buy an E1 
OT:
I planned a easy KNP trip in Des with E1 but mother in law got very ill and we "CAMPED IN THE GARDEN FOR 4 DAYS DURING DES...
I have 3 boys 8, 7 & 2 and the E1 offerded best space for sleeping and Swambo said - that's the one ... not these other funny "normal" offroad trailers
It really is GR8 ,bit heavy maybe not enough packing space but then again can be increased with RR on trailer but once open nothing beats it for space and comfort...
