Thanks for reply, can you tell me where this is located please.I have system installed since april 2005 but dealers and Landrover Ireland seem to be at a loss as to how to connect to speed pulse and sat nav computer thinks that vehicle never moved so route guidance and voice instruction does not work.

Thank's again Martin

did they fit an opto-isolator?
if not, the output could be 'confused' Confused

The system is installed with the pulse wire disconnected as nobody over here seems to know where to connect to.

the pulse output Gareth mentioned isn't just a 'pulse times x = 1 mile' it's an 'intelligent' output, they need to isolate and configure the GPS or install a seperate tranceiver
what is your requirement?

The unit is travelpilot DX-V and the instructions just look for a pulse from speedo.I am told it is the same pulse recquired by taxi units.

Maybe this type of pulse is not available on the system of the D3,these units were easily installed in D2 with the pulse signal wire left behind the radio unit.I will get more info from Blaupunkt and maybe this might make it clearer as to exactly what is recquired.
