Weights under rear bumper???

While under my Disco recently I noticed two "weights" or lumps of cast iron under my rear bumper - huh Question
What on earth are they for besides increasing weight and fuel consumption? They seem to pivot freely but I could not work out what they are for?

Any knowledge of these?

The taipai tower has one in the middle of it to help with high winds.

Oh really POM

Yawn

Rolling with laughter

Make sure you swing freely with these as they are key in maintaining yr magic carpet feel ride. If they get clogged up with much yr ride will become harsh Neutral

Is that why our balls hang? Something to do with stability when we start tottering after too much fluid intake Wink Laughing
