Unknown connector
I took down the front grill and behind it there was a wiring loom, coming out just under the central bonnet lock. It was folded, fastened to front cross member and ended in a 6-pin connector, which was terminated with a female connector (holes were plugged off too).
Just for curiosity, anybody know what is that I could not figure it out:
Huh... May we get a picture?! (Just some uneducated guesswork here: winch connector?!)

I haven't taken a photo yet, maybe next weekend. I doubt that it is for a winch, the loom/wire looks too thin for a winch...

I don't think it is driving lights, as the loom was part of the accessory kit and had two plugs. It could be for some additional cooling fans for hot clmates?

Thanks for the replys. I will try to take picture over the weekend.
It is not the lamp washer, the lamp washer connector, which is C0828, goes to the pupm which is on the side of the washer fluid tank.
It is not the fog lamp, which is C2327 feeding C0513/514, these are around the foglamps, not in dead centre of the vehicle.
Maybe additional cooling fan, but the vehicle is a German model, I am not sure that they will put something like this on a German car (global warming not withstanding...).

is it this one?
If so, it's for the pollution sensor - not fitted on all models

not mine, obviously it's basically to detect 'smog' and put the aircon into recirculation mode to prevent fumes entering the cabin, not sure if it operates when in heating mode though

10forcash,
I think you are the winner!
I recon that you are rigth, I looked up on electric drawing and looks like C2683 is a 6-pin connector.
As far as I know the pollution sensor works with the climite control, and if senses "pollution" outside of the car, can automatically close the outside air intake for the cabin, switches onto inside air recirculation.
