Are these straight forward to fit? I gather they just stick on but does anyone have any experience of fitting they could share.

Take the doors off and take them into your house put them in the oven at gas mark 4 for 20 minutes. The adhesive should then stick. In the Beginning there was nothing, which exploded.

Andrew - not many people have the special Torx drive to do that. If you don't have one of those and don't want to shell out for one (plus the Arga sized oven you'd need) then I have three suggestions:-
1. Mark out the heights EXACTLY with masking tape on the door. Also mark off the ends too.
2. Warm the door panels and the strips with a hair dryer for 5-10 minutes to get them nice and warm before fitting each one.
3. Its easier with two people - one, the lead, doing definitive placement, and the other holding the other end of the strip millimetres off the door until your ready to commit to sticking down both endsSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

A lot more than a ruler and a roll of low tack masking tape from B&Q, which is all you need (plus a bit of time - how much depends on how competent you are and how quick you work, but it is not difficult by any stretch).
In answer to the question though, most dealers charge minimum of 1 hour labour and at around £100 + VAT per hour, you can probably expect to pay double what the parts cost new I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. BTW According to GTR the updated strips cannot be applied to a vehicle that has had paint protection applied. Warranty claims will not be honoured if this is the case. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
