Heavy duty pckg spare tire question?? |
|
Is it ok? Or is it really a donut?
I'm choosing between a vehicle with or without and want to know how much of a difference it would make.
With the donut, if I get a flat, does that mean I'm straight to the dealership to get repaired / replaced?
Or if I had the full size spare, would that mean I could keep driving for much longer knowing that I didn't have to immediately rush to a service appointment...
thanks deciding on LR3....

My US HSE's spare is a real '5th wheel' with identical wheel and tire. The SE's over here do have a mini-spare.

My SE has a full-size spare.
BTW, you ever get to South Pittsburg? Now that I've got the LR3 and a 99 Disco1, I've been wanting to go browse!
Not that far from Huntsville, but you are even closer.
