remove price adhesive from windscreen
Hi all,
I have a new disco and every time it rains you can read the forecourt price on the windscreen, there must be some adhesive left over from the stickers although it doesn't feel sticky to the touch. anyone got any good tips for getting this off?
cheers

Clay Bar?
When you are done treat it with Rainex, great stuff. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

cheers guys,
Clay Bar sounds like a winner, haven't heard of that before but a quick google looks like it might do the job.

Could be worse!
A business owner here rented a shop that used to be a sex shop and whenever it was cold the lettering from the prevoius business showed up. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

WD40 seems to work on most adhesives.

Have you just tried rubbing the 'sticky bits ' with white spirit and some kitchen paper? This usually removes any traces of adhesive and leaves the glass clean and non-greasy.2006 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE AutoBuckingham Blue 2007 Golf GT DSG

just make sure you don't spill any on the paintwork I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
