Thanks a lot! You can count on the Rioja!
Just finished placing the order (they did add an extra bottle).
I'll let you know how it goes. JL Martin

Hi Folks,
I just bought the complete Toughseal package to do my new D3.
I am a bit annoyed that the Australian kit only includes 100ml bottles, instead of 200ml (in the UK package).
Will 100ml be enough to do the whole D3?
Also, will I need to do anything in particular to strip the layer of wax (the dealer applied) off the paint before using the pre-treatment?
I applied the fabric protector to the carpet and leather/vinyl treatment to the seats, dash, door skins. Looks good, but time will tell how well it works.
Cheers,
Rob

Thanks CW.
It had me concerned that I the bottles are smaller - especially when there were references to the UK supplier providing 2 bottles (400mL) when they were told it was for a D3. I would have hated getting half way through and then waiting to do the rest.
Cheers,
Rob

please note that it is to be used sparingly and not splashed on. the bottle sizes were enough to do the job on mine. also be sure to remove any from your plastics and rubber seals as it's a pain later although it can be done.

Hi all,
Have any of you guys heard of a stick on ? vinyl for the car's duco to protect against stone chips?
My understanding is that a digital photo of the front of the car is taken and that is fed into a computer that laser cuts a sheet of clear vinyl, which can then be peeled off to apply to appropriate section to be protected. Apparently fairly expensive at $500 Australian plus.
I also use a clear self adhesive ? vinyl to protect headlights. It is about 2-3mm thick and has NOT clouded or yellowed after six years (and no I have had no broken headlights either!). regards
Peter
