well the story goes, I filled up from almost empty from a forecourt in glasgow, should have be more aware that all the diesel pumps were locked off except one, a bit wise after the event but hey, within 1 hour we then have the egr failure, so just wondering, of course cant say catagorically, but just wondered whether he had filled up earlier on his trip and from where. Thumbs Up

My power is back !! Mr. Green

Have ordered the blanking plates from Andy but thought I would try the 2p method
first to see if it was the EGRs that were the problem

Happy to say it was Very Happy She now pulls better than ever -prob due to the new air filter also!
will fit the proper blanks when they arrive but at least she is driveable now

Thanks for all the help guys, looks like we can still go away this weekend Thumbs Up

Glad it's sorted mate Thumbs Up

My EGR failure happened after using the millars additive. I usually use Shell fuel, but have used Morrisons, Tesco and Asda's and not noticed any change. Also used the V-Power and Ultimate stuff and also noticed no increase in drivability or performance/mpg.
